CENDS is our bridge to our reporting partners. This application is used to configure and send notifiable case messages to CDC and other partners.  The data is pulled directly from EpiTrax into CENDS and is used mainly for mandatory reportable conditions. 

The CENDS module is part of the PHAST suite and is an application developed to both create and send case notifications to CDC through HL7 message mapping guides (MMGs), and generate NETSS data exports. The module allows for easier construction and management of MMGs allowing Epitrax utilizing jurisdictions the ability to expedite their alignment with national efforts to streamline public health data transmission.
